Recovery can mean many things to many people. Lee Ann Kaskutas from the Alcohol Research Group is conducting a study to ask what “recovery” means to individuals who have substance use disorders and have been able to overcome them. Dennis Donovan from the UW Alcohol & Drug Abuse Institute is one of the advisors to the project. The researchers have created a brief web-based survey, which takes about 20 minutes to complete; they hope to get 12,000 responses by October 31, 2012.
