Dr. Caleb Banta-Green of the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Institute, Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna, and representatives from the ACLU, law enforcement, public health, and family advocacy groups spoke today in Olympia about the new 911 Good Samaritan law that will take effect June 10, encouraging those who witness drug overdoses to call for help.
