A new position has opened up at ADAI. The position is for a Booster Call Therapist (Mental Health Pract Clinical Specialist), with the application window opening 6/21/2010 and closing 7/2/2010.
This temporary, part-time position will assist ADAI's participation in the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) by serving as a counselor delivering "booster" counseling sessions for individuals who have received a brief motivationally-focused intervention in an emergency department based on their having screened positive for drug use. 10-20 hours per week for approx. 2 months with a high likelihood the position may extend for up to 1 year. Requires Master's degree, prior training/experience with motivational interviewing, 2+ years working with clients in addiction or psychological counseling treatment.
