NFATTC is offering a special 2-part training on Clinical Supervision: Building Counselor Skills and Resolving Problems. The course was developed by NFATTC and has been a popular offering throughout the Northwest. In recent years it has been adopted by a number of other states.
This time, course is part of an independent national evaluation study of the whole ATTC network. Attendees will be asked to consent to be involved in the evaluation (but they can still attend the trainings even if they choose not to be involved in the evaluation). If attendees choose to participate in the evaluation they will be asked to do a brief on-line survey about a month following the training. In addition, a small subgroup of those who do the survey would be asked to participate in an interview by the evaluators to see what impact the training has had on their clinical practice and supervisory behavior. As an incentive, the cost of the course is reduced by 50%.
The course will be offered in Seattle on Sept 21-22 and Nov 9-10, and in Tualatin, OR (near Portland) on Sept 24-25 and Nov 12-13.
