Sponsored by the Pacific Northwest and Oregon/Hawaii Nodes of the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN), and the Northwest Frontier ATTC.
This 2-day science-based symposium will present evidence-based tools and lessons learned in the NIDA CTN. There are 2 tracks: Clinical and Administrative/Supervisory. The training will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Portland.
Plenary sessions and workshops will focus on topics of interest to clinicians and treatment administrators:
- Implementation of Evidence-Based Practices: Discoveries of CTN Research
- Buprenorphine Treatment of Opiate Dependency
- Community Reinforcement Approach to Treating Addiction
- Developing Effective Treatment Plans
- Safer Sex for Men
- Process Improvement to Increase Client Engagement and Retention
